Release!! — January 2026

We’re very happy to announce the release of our new Kalash platform: Gran’ Vostoka!


What’s included in this release:

  • The fifth Iron Edge collection: GV Platform

  • Our consistent standard, now even more solid and refined

  • GV with CWOS included at launch

  • A new way to present presets and color variations

  • Major improvements to optics: lenses and dots fully reworked


Gran’ Vostoka Platform

GV arrives with a bold, immersive look, built on the Iron Edge consistent standard. The highlight is its modular capability, combined with unique details: hand-crafted texture work, a distinct identity, Cyrillic markings, and realistic serial numbers.

At launch, the platform already includes multiple configurations—ranging from a classic-style GV39 (with wooden stock, pistol grip, and handguard) to more tactical builds, featuring an American-style dust cover and handguards.

And this is just the beginning: GV is designed to cover a complete lineup—classic AR, tactical AR, carbine, and LMG, including short and compact variants. Modularity was also planned to support more advanced variations in the future, such as builds that can even use 5E-standard tube stocks.


The standard you know — even better!

Based on feedback and testing, we further refined our consistent standard, especially where it matters most in day-to-day use: bones and animations. The goal is to make it easier for customers to create their own animations and improve compatibility with existing animation setups.


Bone updates:

  • Removed the “_Ends” suffix from bones

  • All bones now have rotation set to 0,0,0

  • The Root scale is always 1

Master Material: more control, less rework

The Master Material received targeted improvements, including a new parameter for global brightness control across all textures. This makes it easy to push weapons brighter or darker consistently—without repainting or manually adjusting black levels (or other tones) texture by texture.


You adjust it once in the Master, and the change applies across the entire set—keeping consistency between weapons and parts.

More realistic optics

We created a new glass material and a new dot material for optical sights, aiming for a look closer to real-world optics—cleaner visuals and more consistent quality.

Traditional variants: now powered by BP + Data Tables

We also improved how we present Traditional versions and their color variations. We now use a Blueprint driven by Data Tables and Enums, allowing you to quickly select from pre-configured presets.


Color variations for the GV platform

Each model ships with 4 to 8 ready-to-use color variations, already set up for immediate use.


At the moment, the GV platform includes four defined models: GV39, GV103, GV104, and GVRK. Once each one is fully completed, it will also be turned into a dedicated SK unit.


How this improves your workflow

Previously, each Traditional model had two main versions (Barebone and Full). The Full version was duplicated into 4 to 8 separate files (one per color), which significantly increased the number of SKs in the pack.


Now, with the new BP:

  • Each model needs only 2 SKs (Barebone and Full)

  • And a single BP manages 4–8 predefined colors


Result: fewer files, better internal project structure, and a much faster, more practical workflow.

More optimized, more direct, and more efficient to use.


(Fun fact: once the models are fully completed, they can also become standalone Traditional products, available individually in our stores.)
